Casa Molly is named in loving memory of our sweet doggy girl. We hope you feel her gentle presence in our home. She was incredibly important to us and one of the many reasons we fell in love with Holbox. This was her second home for 10 years. As you will see the island is very kind to animals and most every place is pet friendly. This is something that makes Holbox very special to us and we hope to you also.

We highly encourage stopping by the refuge to pet, play, walk, and/or donate to support all the great work done on behalf of animals.

Lucy is the dog of the house. She wanders around the property and is very friendly, always looking for a scratch on the head.

The dream for Casa Molly began over twenty years ago, Kevin and Heather both had the same dream of living on a beautify tropical island someday….

2012 we had our first visit to Holbox and immediately fell in love with the island and its beautiful community. We found ourselves going back multiple times each year instead of visiting new places, after five years we realized this was the place for us. 

It has been a journey of learning Mexico and Holbox, growing our idea for a business, navigating construction and all the things that go with it, and finally opening Casa Molly in December of 2022.
